Sermon Preview: June 3, 2021

Greetings Church!

I am so looking forward to Sunday.

How I long, once again, to gather in worship, fellowship and love for God and for one another. Gathering with our church family, sharing our prayers and our praise with one another and as a body. However, I am called to pause and reflect on what it is I/we wish for.

Have you ever wished for something, only to find that upon receiving your wish, it was not what you really wanted or needed at all? The people of Israel wanted an earthly king. Upon receiving it, they sadly realized that it was not at all what they imagined. We have a heavenly king, do we want to be a part of his family?
